Let Martha Stewart help you choose the right floral container for your blooms. Many household items can work as a vase: ginger or jelly jars, egg cups, pitchers, sea shells, pots, shallow or footed bowls and glass tumblers. Vases balance the floral display and add visual interest. They can be divided into six basic forms, all of which are used in our collection. Trumpet: Fluted at the top. Blooms fall and arch outward naturally, echoing the flare of the vase. Cylinder: May be tall or short. Best features stems that need support or flowers with long, very straight stems. Sphere: Perfect for any flower that grows in clusters. Cut stems short so blooms will mound in a dome. Bottle: Similar to a cylinder but works well for exotics or slim-stemmed flowering branches, arranged in individual bottles to cluster or line in a row. Low Pan: Wonderful for one or two flower buds floating or anchored at the base with a florist's frog. Pail or Urn: A shape that opens slightly at top. Flowers will have room to fall away to the sides. Great for large blooms.
CLASSIC VASE SHAPES Martha Stewart's own personal collection of vases, planters, and bowls provided the inspiration for the collection's quintessential vase forms. Produced in ceramic, metal, and glass, these specially designed vases create lovely floral arrangements. After the flowers are gone, you'll have a keepsake vase, and you'll always be ready when a gift of fresh flowers arrives. ART DECO GLASS VASE Forms are delineated by color in this Art Deco-inspired vase. The faceted square base is topped with a simple cylindrical vase shape, creating a dramatic counterpoint to any flower arrangement. Measures 8"H x 4"W.
BAMBOO GROVE VASE The origin of this vase was a natural container from Asia crafted of actual bamboo stalks. We've rendered the design in ceramic and colored it a warm neutral, so your flowers will really stand out. Measures 6"H x 4.25"W.
CERAMIC WOVEN BASKET There's a sweetness crafted into this ceramic vase, styled after one of Martha Stewart's favorite Easter baskets. In straw yellow, it works well for bouquets celebrating spring holidays or any special occasion. Measures 9"H x 5.75"W x 4.25"D.
CUT GLASS VASE Our Art Deco trumpet vase has a wide-mouth, perfect for large floral displays and generous blossoms. The body, suggestive of Flint glass or cut crystal, is etched with a design that helps to obscure flower stems. Measures 10.75"H x 6.75"W.
AMERICAN CERAMIC BOWL Mid-century modern forms never go out of style. This rounded ceramic vase's scale and proportions lend themselves to a variety of flower arrangements. Measures 5"H x 6"W.
ARTS AND CRAFTS BOWL This vase is a wonderful representation of the Arts and Crafts style: a round, bell-shaped bowl is paired with geometric handles and glazed in a classic drabware color. It's our reproduction of the movement's pottery, with the sensibility of early 20th-century American Bungalow design. Measures 5.5"H x 6.5"W.
BURNISHED GOLD VASE Our classically styled urn is inspired by an antique vase Martha Stewart received as a gift from her daughter Alexis. A beautiful burnished gold finish covers the hexagonal shape. Measures 10"H x 6"W.
CLASSIC SILVERED VASE The gleaming quicksilver shine catches light on our classic ceramic vase, styled after a piece from Martha's Lily Pond home. It's well suited to floral arrangements large and small, and, of course, more than appropriate on a mantelpiece. Measures 10.25"H x 5"W.
