What's The Story?
The tradition of giving a ?hamper? full of goodies can be traced back to England?s Boxing Day, which started in the Middle Ages. On December 26th (the day after Christmas, since servants were required to work that day), masters would give servants boxes full of useful gifts as they prepared to head home to celebrate with their families.
