What's The Story?
World traveler, cookbook author and founder of Nirmala's Kitchen, Nirmala Narine was born in Guyana, South America and came to the United States when she was ten years old. Coming from a generation of farmers, she now calls home an organic farm in New York?s Hudson Valley. In her free time, she travels the world teaching children in orphanages about farming and she also works with children at public schools here at home, sharing her love of food, culture and cooking.
